    The convertible Dhs account can only be funded in foreign currencies but allows for withdrawals in Moroccan Dirhams within Morocco and in foreign currencies abroad.

You have the option to open the following accounts:

The individuals involved in opening a joint account must visit the branch at the time of account opening to deposit their signature and inform the account manager of the desired account management mode: separate or joint signature.
 

The actual balance is the amount that is actually available in your account, reduced by the number of pending transactions (blocks)..

Your balance can be securely communicated to you through a strong authentication system using the BMCE Direct code.
Your BMCE Direct code must be numeric. Remember to request its modification from your advisor if it does not comply with this structure.

You can appoint a proxy to manage your account through a signed and legalized bank proxy according to the model established by BANK OF AFRICA.

The package allows you to make considerable savings compared to separate sales and to benefit from several advantages:
● Checking account with bundled account maintenance fees and regular operations.
● Withdrawal and payment bank card (several types of cards available depending on the package).
● Free access to your personal BMCE Direct account to remotely monitor your account via web or mobile.
● Overdraft authorization depending on the subscribed package, subject to the discretion of the branch.

Yes, except for bancassurance products which may be mandatory or optional depending on the subscribed package and are charged separately.

The processing time for your deposit will vary depending on the nature of the check:
● If it is a BANK OF AFRICA check, the transaction will be recorded in your account on the first business day following the day of deposit.
● If it is a check from another bank, the transaction will be recorded in your account on the second business day following the day of deposit.
Check deposits are also available at the Bank's Automated Self-Service Machines (LSB), which are operational 24/7, with the same processing times as the branch (provided that the deposit is made before 5pm).

 

We offer you the possibility to deposit your check into your account at any BANK OF AFRICA branch without any additional fees.

You have the possibility to make cash withdrawals at any BANK OF AFRICA branch of your choice, under the same conditions as cash withdrawals at your own branch.

• If you make a transfer through your branch or via BMCE Direct to a beneficiary who is a BANK OF AFRICA client, their account will be credited instantly.
• If you make a transfer through your branch or via BMCE Direct to a beneficiary who is a client of another bank, their account will be credited on the second business day following the transfer.

If you wish to quickly send money to a customer or non-customer of BANK OF AFRICA, you can initiate a cash availability through your branch or remotely via your online space BMCE Direct.
Cash availability is a transaction in which you make a sum of money available to the beneficiary by debiting your account, which they can collect from any BANK OF AFRICA branch upon presentation of their identification document (ID card for Moroccans and registration card for foreigners residing in Morocco).

To activate your bank card, you must make a withdrawal at a BANK OF AFRICA or affiliated ATM, or make a purchase from a merchant equipped with an Electronic Payment Terminal (EPT) or an online purchase.

Contactless payment allows you to quickly pay for purchases of amounts less than or equal to 600 Dhs by simply approaching your card to the payment terminal. With equipped merchants, you no longer need to enter your PIN. You can make contactless purchases for a maximum amount of 600 dhs per transaction without entering your PIN, up to a limit of 3 transactions per day. For security reasons, you will be asked to insert your card into the merchant's payment terminal and enter your PIN when you have exceeded a certain cumulative amount of successive contactless payments.

In case of loss, theft, or fraudulent use of your card, you can report it 24/7 from your personal BMCE Direct account or by contacting the Customer Relationship Center at 080 100 8100 7/7, from 08:00 to 22:00. Then, make a report at the police station and go to your branch within 48 hours to confirm your opposition request, with your report of loss or theft of your bank card.

You can recalculate the PIN code of your card from your personal BMCE Direct account or by contacting the "Direct Line" at 080 100 8100 (from Morocco) or +212 5 22 42 15 42 (from abroad) from 08:00 to 22:00, 7/7. You can also request it from your Advisor at the branch. A temporary PIN will be sent to you by SMS, which you will be asked to change at one of the BANK OF AFRICA ATMs.

• If you are a BANK OF AFRICA customer: Submit a claim to your branch or via the Customer Relationship Center at 080 100 8100 (from Morocco) or +212 5 22 42 15 42 (from abroad) from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week, for a BANK OF AFRICA or Sister Bank ATM withdrawal.
• If you are a customer of another bank: If you are not served at any of the BANK OF AFRICA ATMs, submit your claim to your bank.

First, make sure that you have provided your bank with a valid mobile number and email address. Then contact your advisor at the branch or call the Customer Relationship Center at 080 100 8100 (from Morocco) or +212 5 22 42 15 42 (from abroad) from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week. For online merchant sites that do not adhere to 3D Secure and do not display the logoDescription : Description : https://www.bankofafrica.ma/sites/default/files/visa-card_0.png or logoDescription : Description : https://www.bankofafrica.ma/sites/default/files/mastercard.png , you will not receive a 3D Secure password. In this case, the validation of your payment will be done automatically after entering your card details.

Your card may not work in certain cases, mainly:
• If your card is defective or damaged: In this case, go to your advisor at the branch to request a replacement;
• If you have exceeded the authorized withdrawal or payment limit: Go to your branch or any other BANK OF AFRICA branch for a cash withdrawal.
• If your card is blocked: If you have the card in your possession, go to your advisor at the branch to lift the block. Otherwise, you have the option to request a new card.
• If you have made 3 incorrect PIN attempts, for security reasons your card is blocked: Contact the Customer Relationship Center at 080 100 8100 (from Morocco) or +212 5 22 42 15 42 (from abroad) from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week to unblock your card or contact your advisor at the branch.

BANK OF AFRICA debit cards allow you to:
• Withdraw money from BANK OF AFRICA and Sister Bank ATMs, in Morocco and abroad, up to the authorized limits for each type of card.
• Make contactless and PIN-based payments for your purchases at all merchants equipped with a POS terminal, in Morocco and abroad, up to the authorized limits for each type of card.
• Pay for your E-commerce purchases in Moroccan Dirhams on Moroccan websites and in foreign currencies on international websites, up to the authorized limits for each type of card. Additionally, only the ATM withdrawal functionality in Morocco is available on the account card.

You can activate your various allowances in foreign currencies (tourist, E-commerce...) remotely through your BMCE Direct personal space or by calling the Customer Relationship Center at 080 100 8100 (from Morocco) or +212 5 22 42 15 42 (from abroad) from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week, or directly with your advisor at the branch.

You have the option to order your checkbook from your BMCE Direct personal space, from any BANK OF AFRICA ATM, or directly from your branch.
You can inquire about the status of your order by calling the Customer Relationship Center at 080 100 8100 (from Morocco) or +212 5 22 42 15 42 (from abroad) from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week.
For collection, you are required to visit the branch

In case of loss or theft of a checkbook or a few forms, you must initiate as soon as possible a declaration of loss or theft with the police station, providing them with the number(s) of the lost or stolen checks to be mentioned on the declaration that must be provided to your agency for the opposition of the lost or stolen forms.

BMCE Direct is the remote banking service of BANK OF AFRICA, it offers you the possibility to manage your accounts and carry out your everyday banking operations without having to go to a branch, in complete security. You can access it via the website www.bmcedirect.ma or through the mobile application downloadable on all app stores.

BMCE DIRECT is a service accessible to all BANK OF AFRICA customers.

Subscription to BMCE Direct is to be done at the branch with your account manager who will provide you with your username and password, along with a specific strong authentication device.

BMCE Direct is offered free of charge to Individual and Professional customers.

Access to BMCE Direct can be done through:
• Your mobile/tablet, by downloading the BMCE Direct application from the app stores,
• The website
www.bmcedirect.ma                               

Access the web version www.bmcedirect.ma, enter your username and temporary password received by SMS. You will be prompted to change your password during this first connection.

1- Consultation: Check the status, history of your account and card, download statements of your transactions, the status of your bancassurance products as well as your loans and securities portfolio.
2- Transactions: Make transfers (internal and to colleagues) as well as withdrawals, Pay your bills, Top up your prepaid cards, carry out your stock market operations, etc...
3- Subscription: Initiate a request for subscription to a payment card or a passbook account, subscribe to an assistance contract or a savings contract (Education, Retirement).

To make a single transfer or withdrawal, simply enter the information of your beneficiary and your transaction (Amount, description...), then validate the transaction with a confirmation code that will be sent to you by SMS (or by email if you have chosen this channel during the initial configuration of your BMCE Direct).
 

The "SITUATION/AVIS D'OPÉRÉS" section allows you to generate a PDF file containing the statement of transactions from the previous month. The transaction history allows you to view the operations carried out during the last 6 months. To download older statements, you need to click on "Search" and fill out the form.

By subscribing to the Direct Pro service, you can delegate to a third party (assistant, accountant, etc.) the management of your remote accounts, with the creation of a delegation identifier and assigning them a scope of accounts and functions that you have determined and shared with your advisor at the branch.

 

Your personal contact information (mobile number and email) allows you to receive your confirmation code for transactions carried out on BMCE Direct. You have the possibility to modify them at any time by visiting the branch.

First, we recommend that you define the type of property you need (apartment, detached house, villa, etc.), then share your project with your BANK OF AFRICA customer advisor. Generally, it represents between 45% and 50% of your income. However, the bank reserves the right to apply a lower debt ratio (depending on the client's profile) and may exceed the 50% threshold set in certain cases.
