The BMCE Bank Foundation,a major pillar of BANK OF AFRICA's CSR strategy
The BMCE Bank Foundation has been a pioneer in its mission to promote education and environmental preservation through education. Since its creation in 1995, the BMCE Bank Foundation has been informing the Group's choices in terms of human development and impact on society. Through the Medersat.com Network, the BMCE Bank Foundation is working to improve access to education in rural communities and to raise children's awareness of environmental issues.
BMCE Bank Foundation a committed and supportive bank
Medersat.com com allows more than 12,000 students from disadvantaged backgrounds to attend school each year in Morocco, not counting the number of children enrolled in schools in sub-Saharan Africa. As for the BMCE Bank Foundation's environmental vocation, it is expressed through the Eco-Schools programme, conducted in partnership with the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment. This programme takes into consideration the construction of schools by integrating environmental components and is also a pedagogical tool to make students aware of sustainable development concepts and invites them to adopt environmentally friendly behaviour.

Actions of the Foundation
The Foundation is involved in the fields of Education, Health and Solidarity, through two categories of action. On the one hand, it carries out its own achievements, especially the construction of school and health infrastructures to improve the daily life of communities. On the other hand, the Foundation supports initiatives in line with its mission, through material and financial donations for the benefit of vulnerable populations.
